Somber and heavy hearts poured in from all areas of Shamrock Park this evening in the town of Bel Air Maryland. It was cool and drizzly as several faith based songs played quietly in the background. Darkness poured over the area as I witnessed candles being lit sporadically across the crowd. 

500 or so people sang, cried and shouted out Charlie's name. It was an emotional night for most as everyone is left with so many questions unanswered. The one thing I can say, Charlies death is challenging thousands to make a change in their own lives. To attend church. To love better. To simply be a better person. 

As our community came together in quiet reflection and prayer, it was a reminder that moments like these go far beyond politics or public platforms, they are about people. Charlie Kirk has touched countless lives through his voice, his convictions, and his courage to speak openly about faith and values in today’s world. Seeing neighbors, friends, and families unite here in Bel Air for him was a powerful testament to the impact he has made and the prayers he continues to inspire. Pastor Josh Finley with Freedom Church in Bel Air gave a moving message that encouraged and inspired those who heard it. 

No matter where we stand on issues, may we continue to lift up not only Charlie but also one another, with grace, compassion, and hope. Tonight was not just a vigil for a man, but a call for unity, for strength in our faith, and for the reminder that light shines brightest in the darkness.
